Back to the old times.

Instead of clubbing, I have been eating so much, i think i can stop eating for a year.
Foodie outings & Eatcapades started!

Friday was meet up with amy and yizhuan at sushi tei. We had a don each, prawns, alot of sushi, sashimi and lotsa catchup. :) Then we proceeded to tearoomparty @ sixth ave for desserts and great fun lah. We laughed so hard, i teared. Haven't had so much fun for so long. :))

Saturday was homecooked yummies & supper at T3 after sending bro. Damn i wished i could go paris now. Nice chat over nachos, cakes and coffee.

Sunday was yong tao foo then sashimi for high tea at parkway. It was good stuff. Then it was dinner at En dining. Unagi rice, soba (friggin good), ever fave beef carpaccio and some grilled stuff with ice creammmmo at Island Creamery.

Monday was mum's spicy spicy laksa then tried Hooked! @ the rail. It was terrible. For the same price i would go to En dining. Coffee after dinner is good. :D

Tuesday was finally some exercise for me. Phew.

Wednesday was more food. Wasabi Tei @ FEP. After 45mins wait, we had our vengence. Two of us had 4 main dishes and 2 plates of sashimi. Their famous thick slices of sashimi was too thick for my liking but for 25bucks. I am so not complaining. We had grilled salmon which was DAMN good. There was unagi that was 2 slices for 10bucks (so frigging cheap can?) but it was kinda too salty for me liking. Beef wasnt raw enough for me too. But the cod fish hot pot was good stuff cannot bluff! Wanted to take photo but i was too paiseh. :( Regret now but oh well. :D All these good stuff for 107bucks can? CHEAAAAPPP! Then we had icecreamo again.

Tonight was humble house night. Sam leong's mother's humble house chicken rice was da bomb lah and the claypot thingy was damn damn good. With amex promotion, it meant 1-for-1. What a pleasant surprise! And what a steal! Must must go back again!!!!!!!!!!! And then it was ahchew desserts. We ordered a few bowls and finished it. I am so FAT!

Not forgetting all the akashi food, kazbar good morroccan food, carnivore buffet, serangoon chompchomp since my last entry. Eating too much!! Shitto!

Okay i dont know why but this is my blog so i can list down what i ate if i want to right? I just wanted to remember what a glutton i am so that if i gain weight i would know why. :( I so need to exercise!!!!!!!! More food tomorrow. Photographs! i promise! :))

Grey clouds over blue skies.

I wanted to talk about happy stuff like how i've gotten all the stuff on my wishlist except for a real good leather bag but i'm so perturbed by the lukewater kinda response i've gotten from a friend i considered close. I wished she was a little more empathetic.

You know I always thought friends should always be there to support you and you would do the same for them - supportive in terms of shit school, family issues, boys stuff and other personal news and problems. After growing up alittle more, I realised it ain't true. While friends will always be friends, you know not everyone goes the distance with you. And that lovey caring words are so easily thrown around, actions are what mattered most. The one who will always be there for you is, you. Family will be the safety net who catches you. Some friends to some degree will prevent your fall from being too much of an arse pain but ultimately, you'll feel the pain. Maybe i'm wishing too hard but i wished I had more of the friends who would fall with me and share their bruise lotion with me.

Must be the weather. I'm under it.

Feel a little better by being heavily medicated with over the counter meds.
Feel a little better for not having to pay too much for the camera damages.
Feel a whole lot better knowing you, you and you are all around with me. :))

Come for Temasek Hall Chillout! I'll be ~~singing~~ croaking with musical artistic flair, hopefully. Probably on at 9++pm but the night starts 730pm with EH playing first. Beer and food on sale to entertain the itching mouths and music for the hungry souls and minds. :)

When i woke up

Zouk with the girls as usual and woke up at 10.55am. Sat down and work on this until 11.59am. Finally. I guess this is less controversial but i really love that photo. Cigar on red nails shit is cool. I'm still not satisfied but this is okay for now. Till i figured out better themes.

Vicious cycles

Everything comes back to you at the end of the day. With cause, we have effect.

When you leave someone behind and if you still have a heart, you would hope they'd learn to walk alone again. Then you'd wonder why did the person still linger on for so long because you feel so guilty. How faithful!

What i am saying is, although someone may have just left you high and dry, walk on because someday, even if it's not in love, your deeds come back in full circle, in the mysterious ways of karma.

Gentle Reminder

A peek of the pretty girls at the F1 Red Bull party @ Cafe Del Mar. It was full of celebrities whom i may not know. Hahaha!
I know i look ghastly but whatever lah. Just drink till u drop man.

I've been really busy with work these 2 weeks after midterm break. I'm kinda jaded and next week i am still gonna be so busy with appointments. I dont even have time to get all emo.

I've this habit of buying/borrowing books with short proses or poems and randomly picking a lucky page number and read the prose/poem. Recently, i borrowed "A Light in the Attic" by Shel Silverstein. Reminds me of Tim Burton's "Oyster Boy" but Shel's version is the less gloomy one. Here's the one i randomly picked when i flipped to page26. I wonder if it's a sign for something?

Conclusion of Today = Twas a bad day and it ain't over yet.

Terrible gut feelings about today's tests. They were all pretty simple if only i had more time and spent more time. Fingers crossed! Passed on Japfood and rushed back for nasi lemak but it's gone by the time i reached school. Damn. The only thankful thing was that it didn't rain.

U know how it is when you commit a folly and it's considered silly or careless but when you repeat these follies, delude yourself in fallacies and get trapped in the vicious cycle, you're just plain stupid.

I think i am getting mighty stupid. Just look at my tests. Must be all that pollutive vices. :((

Cigar on painted red nails.

I like this. If only her nails were painted blood red and that her other hand were fitted with a glass of red wine. Nights of cognitive load just leaves me with my imagination wild. Voyeuring always leave me with surprises. Someone's coming home this morning and despite all the angst, disappointment and hurt, i'm wishing for a bottle of lime green tea snapple with you someday somehow. :))

Right now.

Being out of the mugging scene for half a yr, having to study for psyche tests is just sucha arduous task. :(

I wished i could go on a short getaway with my boyfriend at a beach resort.

Now that's kinda like building pink castles in the humid air because
1. I don't have a boyfriend.
2. I am kinda broke.
3. I've tests and schoolwork.

Okay, back to the horrible nightmare of being a hardworking student on a public holiday.
I'm so happy and excited. Yay to school! :))
